Detectives Asking for Assistance in Identifying 3 Persons Wanted for Questioning in Fatal Shooting of Teen in Madison Park in Nashville, TN

NASHVILLE, TN - The Metropolitan Nashville Police Department reports that Detectives investigating Wednesday afternoon’s fatal shooting of a teenager in Madison Park on North Dupont Avenue are asking for the community’s assistance.

Detectives need help in identifying the three persons.depicted in the attached photos, who are believed to have been present when the gunfire occurred and are wanted for questioning.

The investigation shows that Justin Robinson, 16, was in the park with a teenage friend when they got into an argument with at least two other young men. It appears that Robinson and his friend began to walk away when shots were fired at them. Robinson was hit in the back as he was running away. His friend pulled his own gun and returned fire. A passerby saw that Robinson was shot and transported him and his friend to Skyline Medical Center. The friend’s pistol was recovered by police.

The unknown shooter in this case is believed to live in the Madison Park area as he fled from the scene on foot and no vehicle was seen.
