CLAY COUNTY, Florida - The Clay County Sheriff's Office is currently conducting a homicide investigation which occurred at the Laurel Grove Apartments at 2020 Wells Rd. in Orange Park, Florida.
On Friday, June 28th, at approximately 11:10 PM, the victim, 29-year-old Darious Beals, was in the parking lot of this apartment complex when he was shot multiple times by an unknown assailant.
Mr. Beals succumbed to his wounds at the scene. Investigators believe the victim was specifically targeted in this attack. There are no suspects in custody at this time.
