SOMERSET, KY - Sheriff Bobby Jones is reporting that on Tuesday, January 3, 2023, at approximately 7:25 P.M. a Pulaski County woman was arrested following the execution of a search warrant.
The incident began when Detectives with the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division, who were conducting an investigation into the sale of illegal narcotics in the Shopville community of Pulaski County, began conducting surveillance on the residence.
On Tuesday, Deputies went to the Farmer Road residence to execute a search warrant.
During a search of the residence, Deputies located:
- Methamphetamine
- Digital scales
- Baggies
Several subjects were located inside of the residence, including Amanda Eden, Age 42, of Somerset. It was determined the residence belonged to Eden along with the bedroom the drugs were located inside of.
Amanda Eden was arrested and charged with:
- Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, 1st Degree, 1st Offense (greater than 2 grams of Methamphetamine)
- Drug Paraphernalia – Buy/Possess
This individual was taken to the Pulaski County Detention Center, where she was lodged.
Detective Hudson was assisted at the scene by Lieutenant Richard Smith and Detectives with the Criminal Investigation Division of the Pulaski County Sheriff's Office.
The case remains under investigation by Detective Tan Hudson.
